This tangerine sorbet recipe blew me away. I used just one ingredient — fresh frozen tangerine segments — to whip up a dairy-free, sugar-free treat in just one minute. It was absolutely (surprisingly) delicious. It tasted just like the homemade Italian water ice that we get in the summer from a local stand.
Why You’ll Love This One-Ingredient Tangerine Sorbet
Healthy & refreshing – no added sugar, no dairy (unless you top with chocolate shavings)
Fast & easy – all you need is a food processor. or high speed blender such as a Vitamix.
Kid-friendly – a fun, colorful dessert without processed or artificial ingredients that can be whipped in minutes.

How to Make Tangerine Sorbet
Ingredients
Tangerines (as many as you’d like; I used 6 medium tangerines which made 5 scoops)
Instructions
Peel and segment the tangerines. Remove any pith and separate into individual segments.
Freeze the segments. Lay segments in a single layer on a baking sheet and freeze until solid (or lay flat in a freezer baggy if your freezer is small). Freeze overnight.
Blend until creamy. Transfer frozen segments to a food processor or a high-speed blender may work. Pulse multiple times, scrape down the sides, and then blend until smooth and sorbet-like (about 1–2 minutes until it becomes a smooth creamy texture).
Serve or store. It's always best served immediately for soft-serve texture, but you can place in a freezer-safe container and freeze 30–60 minutes for a firmer scoop.
I spread them out flat in a baggy to freeze the segments
Tips for the Best Tangerine Sorbet
Choose ripe, sweet tangerines for the best flavor.
No food processor? Try a high-speed blender
For a gourmet twist, add orange zest, mint, or dark chocolate shavings before serving. If you tangerines are not real sweet, add a teaspoon of stevia powder or sugar of your choice.
I added he frozen segments to the food processor

I think I can safely say that I have never been blown away by a recipe! Call me shallow, but that’s the way it is! Sunrise on Vancouver Island perhaps, the Grand Canyon at dawn, the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, or a flock of macaws at dawn in a tropical forest - but not a recipe!
