The screen in the theatre before the show started

  • Story of two women who became business giants- Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden
  • Coming from nothing,  they each built cosmetic and skin care empires
  • What they gave up
  • What they gained
  • Their triumphs and their challenges
  • How they competed against one another
  • How they survived as women in a man's world
  •      It Was A Great Show

Review of the show on Youtube with scenes

What food would go with this show???

I'm choosing Sorrel Soup  which my grandmother's Eastern European Recipe. Since Helena Rubinstein was Eastern European- I chose this tangy green's soup!

  16. The show looks great! I had heard of it but hadn't seen much yet, so thanks! I love Broadways and especially musicals. Lucky you!

And the soup looks delicious. One of my favorite parts of seeing a show on Broadway is finding a tiny, out-of-the-way ethnic restaurant in the theater district for dinner beforehand!
