What's In My Kitchen?- October 2025 Post (IMK)

What ? No!! It can't be October already !!

September really flew by and now it's time once again to join Sherry at Sherry's picking for the In My Kitchen Blog Share where bloggers share what's been going on in our kitchen the month before.

Although I have had this pottery stoneware set since I married 53 years ago, I have not used it in years. The other day I took it out and used it as a chip and dip set. It's two different pieces from the same potter.

I fell in love with the shape and color of these Pfaltzgraff soup bowls. I bought four of them last month.  I'm getting ready for soup season.

I bought a few Noritake China little snack bowls from an antique store. I like them for nuts, pretzels, cookies, and other dry snacks. Perfect for when I host Canasta or Mah Jong and so pretty.

A friend gave me a few sprigs of basil in July and I put it in water. It sprouted roots and I've been using the basil in recipes all summer. I probably should have planted it.

Some new napkins for entertaining. Love the color and simple fruit design.

These napkins scream fall and are so vibrant.

I don't usually make desserts anymore, but I made 2 different no sugar added desserts in September.  I made an easy 1 ingredient- no sugar added sorbet using tangerines ( link to recipe)

I also made a very easy oatmeal/apple drop cookie/ no sugar added
dessert that is very healthy and tasty. I served it to my canasta group and everyone asked for the recipe.
